Halloween Skate at Veterans Memorial Indoor Ice Arena
On Saturday, Oct. 26, 1–2:30 p.m., gather family and friends to ice skate to the spooky sounds of Halloween. Best costume prizes will be awarded at this fun-for-all-ages event. General admission rates apply. 2150 Jackson Ave., 734.794.6235.
Natural Area Preservation Stewardship Workday
Sunday, Oct. 27, Scarlett Mitchell Nature Area, 1-4 p.m. Lend a hand cutting invasive shrubs like honeysuckle and buckthorn. Meet in the Scarlett Middle School parking lot off Lorraine St. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.
Fall Colors Abound at our Golf Courses

Community Event: Halloween Potluck Dinner

Let’s Sing Together
All ages are welcome to attend the first Tuesday sing-along of the month, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 7-8:30 p.m., Ann Arbor Senior Center. Bring an instrument if you would like. Marcia Polenberg, a member of the band Dawn’s Early Light, will be our guest musician. $5 fee. There will be time for everyone to choose a song from our books, Rise Up Singing and Rise Again, or bring your own music and teach us the song! * FREE golf at Huron Hills Golf Course, all day Sunday, Nov. 10, play 9 or 18 holes (power carts are $5)
* FREE swimming at Mack Indoor Pool during lap swim, Monday, Nov. 11, noon-6:30 p.m. and 8–9 p.m.
