Michigan Council of Women in Technology offering scholarships to high school and college girls

If any high school or college girls (senior year through junior year in college) are interested in a tech or computer science career, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology has several scholarships up to $5k.

MCWT provides scholarships to women who have the interest, aptitude, and potential for a successful career in computer science. A strong network of partner companies and individuals who support a diverse Technology industry in Michigan makes this program possible.  The scholarship program encourages talented female students to continue their higher education and ultimately help Michigan become the No. 1 state for girls and women in technology.

In 2021, the MCWT scholar class included 40 recipients; those scholarships had a value of $146,000. And since 2006, MCWT has provided 214 women with scholarships totaling more than $1.54 million.
