Washtenaw County – The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners recently hired Peter Lindeman as their new Communications and Operations Manager. In this role, Lindeman will work with the Board of Commissioners and other Washtenaw County employees to increase engagement with residents, businesses, and community organizations across the county.
“I’m very excited to work with the Board of Commissioners to communicate with all Washtenaw County residents,” said Lindeman. “By increasing awareness of the policies and programs offered by County government, as well as how residents can have their voices heard, we can work together to better serve our community.”
“Peter brings an impressive track record of producing effective communications and leading community engagement efforts,” said Sue Shink, Chair of the Board of Commissioners and Commissioner for District 2. “We are excited to have him on our team to help share the work we are doing with the community.”

In this role, he led communication efforts related to the human services, housing and infrastructure, and economic opportunity work being done by OCED and worked on various special projects and initiatives. Lindeman also brings experience working in program evaluation and LGBTQ+ health research.
